... that keep on giving.

Julie gave me some alpine plants for my birthday back in May.   Planted out in a trough, this dianthus has a new flower today and one of the others has also been flowering ever since I planted it out :-)

A work day in the Railway Shop.   Not madly busy so I had time to work though a collection of boxes of new stock, pricing and sorting them.  Tomorrow's job is to find space somewhere to store the bulb of it.   The stock room is small .... and seriously congested but I did manage to move things around in there this afternoon so that I can at least get in!

After work a walk with Meg at Rhydyronen, finding a rich seam of blackberries along the track to Tyn Llwyn Hen which is where the pottery was started thirty years ago.   Home for tea then an hour at pottery mixing glazing with starting a couple of slab built bowls.   I haven't much time spare for pottery at the moment so slab building using moulds is best as it's the quickest option.   Think an early night might be a good move now.
