looking down but things are looking up

This is the view from the third floor window of the orthopedist's office... The sun was directly overhead -- and it is the hottest day of the year (officially)

New X-rays reveal that the fracture is healing nicely (it's been three weeks!) and although i do still have to wear the 'boot' -- now I am allowed to sleep without it.
A big improvement, hopefully, in sleep-ability.

Three more days 'til Japan!
