Birthday celebration

Jürg, 2nd left, had his 65th birthday today. We planned a camping weekend to celebrate, at a Nomady campsite Stockenmatt above Sarnersee.
I worked in the morning, then we planned to go at 13.30. Just before, I dropped a small bottle of perfume which smashed on the bathroom floor. Then it took a while to pick the million shards of glass, and remove the perfume that had splashed everywhere!
Then we put the camping fridge in the back of the car. Plugged it in the car, then we locked up and started to set off. We checked the fridge was working, but it wasn’t, along with all the other electrical sockets in the car. Mr S was keen to fix it, 1,5 hrs later, on the way without the sockets working!
Anyway, on the way, I looked up a replacement cable for the fridge, which we could pick up at campingshop.ch in Dagmersellen. Unfortunately there was no stock! The website wasn’t correct, but we could buy the 12v socket, then changed this on our cable.
We got to the campsite, first we wanted to try the fridge in the mains, there was a 50m cable roll from the shed/dry toilet up to the camp. Plugged in the fridge, nothing worked. Electric supply in shed also not working!
After a call to the owner, he said he’d come up later. We got everything else set up, had a little bit too eat. Our friends came later than planned too, but were there by 19.00. The owner came, he had to go to the neighboring house to reset the fuse, of course, we thought that our fridge had blown. In actual fact, it was his cable roll was the problem! The fridge worked fine, with a different cable roll.
We had a fantastic evening, Cooked on the fire and had a few drinks and celebrated the birthday boy. He had a huge heart operation at the start of the year, so it was so fantastic to see him fully fit again.
