A Sad First

Today, BabyApple got her first ever injury of any sort (besides shots at the doctor's office). Somehow, while the babysitter was making tea, BabyApple burned two of her tiny little fingers. Either on the stove or the kettle?! Well, accidents do happen. She was so so upset. The only way to console her was to wrap her little hand in a cold wet washcloth and nurse her until she fell asleep in my arms. Poor thing. I will hate hate hate when anything bad happens to her at all.
