Silver service

Except that CFR forgot to hook up the dining car. At times it felt like they had forgotten to hook up the engine too. I wondered at some stage if we were being pulled by a Dacia. Except that no, Dacias were much faster than us, as demonstrated when there was a bit of road parallel to us. 
It's a good thing that the trains are overall very comfortable. It helps to appreciate the scenery rolling by at 20 km/h. 
All very modern too. CFR have an impressive app where you buy, store and display your tickets, it provides the train configuration and lets you pick your seat. It also updates the delay that you accrue in real time! 

We finally made it to Timisoara. 

What a delightful spot it is.
