Kings Heath Park
Had a busy morning doing my usual things, tidying round, sorting the cats and spending time with them, aswell as obviously looking after Eva, but this morning also consisted of making my own packed lunch instead of doing what I usually do and getting a pre packed or cafe sandwich to take to the picnic. I even cut up some chunks of melon and apple, I was organised!
My Dad came round briefly mid morning too as he hasn't seen Eva all week.
At 1pm, Lisa, James and Harry came and fetched me and Eva as I don't have the car on Mondays, and off we set. We were meeting Lou and baby Rhys there.
I find it hard to believe myself, that after all the years of living in or near Kings Heath, today was my first venture to Kings Heath Park, and very nice it is too! We found a shaded spot under a tree but near the play area so Harry and James could play, and set out our blankets, it was really nice and I got a lovely colour on my back. My attempts at getting us all to have a sing song on the blankets resulted in Harry's 2 requests, Bob The Builder and Twinkle Twinkle.
I did Jake's favourite for tea, chicken fajitas MMMmmmmm :-)
