Aurigny’s version of “leaves on the line” is “the runway’s too wet”. 2 of us volunteered to be bumped off the 1745 flight to enable the flight to go. We were then checked in for the 1915. It didn’t rain in the intervening period but somehow the runway was still too wet and now 7(!) of us were dumped off that flight and sent to the Braye Beach hotel. As the flights were all booked up for Monday we were put on a boat back at 0830!
