Cleaning The Neff

Another Sunday and Pat and I are volunteer guides again at Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse.

The weather is rather damp. There are quite a number of visitors from a wide variety of different countries.

Some are quite local and are visiting Hill of Tarvit for the first time. The existence of Kingarrock, our Hickory Golf Course is another discovery for some. No doubt they will book a round on the course.

They will discover that it is a completely different game from today’s Golf.

Today’s entry is a detail study of the Neff galleon which usually sits in the centre of the dining room table.

Today it is being carefully cleaned to restore the silver gleam.  The cleaning process is being carried out in The Great Hall.  Visitors can see how this work is being carried out and ask questions.

A Ferrari driven by Charles Leclerc did win the Italian Grand Prix. Let Joy be unconfined throughout Italy.
