Day 4: Burradoo and the Quirindi sheep

More and more country towns are using their silos as tourist attractions by engaging artists to paint them. In Quirindi artist Peter Ryan transformed the giant canvas of the silos to tell the story of Quirindi, its past, present and future. This stunning feature won Best Street Art Experience, Best Mega Mural and Best of the Best at the 2023 Australian Street Art Awards.

Every night there is a light show that brings the artwork to life. Unfortunately we didn't have a cance to see the light show because we were only passing through on our way to Gunnedah.
