A Town Like Alyth
There is no evidence of a Neville Shute blue plaque. We even rewarded ourselves with a visit to a café - hedonism writ large.
Today any scenery that existed completely disappeared, maybe dissolved. Every Angus burn is full. We have been utterly drookit. CMC has been wearing a snorkel most of the day. Only 11.7 miles but every step has been through a paddy field, if indeed one is allowed to say 'field' nowadays. The Isla is overflowing. In the hilly sections I was somewhat irked by the weight of my euphonium, l knew we shouldn't have attended the roup. We have checked in at our 5* B and B (See Tigh Na Leigh Alyth) and I've had to ask the patron for a map of the bed.
Scullion has transmitted from the Orcades to say the Patersons (Anstruther branch) are still being offhand.
