A French connection
Today, I blipped the French cafe where I usually stop off in the morning to pick up a cup of hot coffee or some freshly baked French bread to take away. This is a habit of mine although, I must admit, a very good one!
It is an interesting place usually full of tourists or students or workers from the surrounding offices. The food is excellent - French as you would expect - but always delicious and very reasonable.
You can see the frontage of Haymarket Station in this shot, another place where I seem to spend a lot of time.
This was my second attempt at a blip. I tried this morning, but with some patrons sitting in the tables in the window, I didn't think it would be a good idea! I went back at lunchtime and surreptitiously grabbed a shot!
Another pretty grey day weatherwise - although still very warm - 23C at the airport this morning. It started off gloriously sunny at 7.30am but the thick clouds started to appear by 9am and the sun made only fleeting appearances. The breeze also felt much cooler than of late. What with the news full of the heatwave ramping up, it seems as if we have gone backwards here. We shall wait and see what comes next.
