I hope I haven’t overdone things

Now it’s the turn of the Bay Tree

Last April it was only the Honey Suckle and the Winter Jasmin that was holding up the fence.  Now it’s just the Bay Tree.  I will be looking for a ‘man that can’ to replace that.

Today has been a busy day.  I hope I  haven’t overdone things – I’ll know tomorrow..

It started with pruning back the Pussy Willow that was felled in 2021 which has made such a good recovery that it will be depositing leaves all over the bike shed and drive this autumn.  Lots of work with my extended loppers (maybe a blip later).  Then trimming up the hedge between the back lawn and the field, followed by cutting back the Honey Suckle and the Winter Jasmin – see above . . .

After that I decided to make a trip to the COOP and pick up three bags of compost and plant some potatoes – more on that later too, I’m sure.

So now I’m recovering from a very hot shower, looking forward to dinner (cold cuts and baked jacket potatoes, then a good night’s kip and waiting to see if I can move tomorrow . . .  !!??
