The season

-al lights. It's dark 8:30 pm. I got off at 9pm. Doggie walk after that was no picnic.

I'm totally exhausted. The moving had started. One resident went to fifth floor today. I was running there and at our first floor. One resident will move to second floor tomorrow, so most of his stuff was already there and I had to go there to get staff that I needed today. Also his TV and CD player were there already, so the only entertainment he had all evening was me feeding him and taking him to his shower. Poor guy.

We got one resident sick. First he had a seizure and then his fever got up, so that gave us extra work on top of that we had no furniture in our communal area where we have a semi office for us.

So it was a mess today. I hope tomorrow will be better, but I doubt. A student was supposed to start tomorrow but is sick. There went our extra hands.

I took a look at the fifth floor's fridge. There's absolutely no room for our stuff, so we will need to keep our stuff at resident's fridges. Not optimal and we can only use some fridges as they are not able to open the doors themselves. One of our coworkers gets horrible migraines from smells. Our floor is smell free. Now the remaining staff and two residents from the fifth floor need to be smell free. That is freaking them out. It feels there's just never ending amount of stuff that no one has thought of or has not cared of. And we are just left to sort everything out on our own on top of the normal work.

Ridiculous. And exhausting.
