If you can't beat them...

Common Spotted Orchid Seed Pods

Another damp day.  Social club had an interesting talk by Newcastle Building Society on fraud.  The talk covered all the scams and frauds that we the general public are exposed to.  One fascinating slide covered how long it would take for a hacker to crack a password.  At the two extremes a password up to 16 characters as near instantly as makes no matter if it was just letters.  A computer program rapidly runs through the possibilities.  At the other end of the scale if the password was again 16 characters with upper and lower case, numbers and symbols it would take 5 billion years.

The blip is the seed cases f the orchids in the garden.  As I have said when they in flower they just arrived of their own methods.  When you see the number of seed pods and remember the seeds are tiny and can be wind blown you understand how they arrive.
