Congrats to Maureen Caroll!

Delighted to hear that my former  golfing partner, Maureen Carol, came 4th last week in the World Squash Championships in Amsterdam in her age group.

What's even more impressive this is  in the   70+ age category .

Maureen ,from Dublane, is a trail- blazer for older women in sport. 
We both started golf together after having some lessons at Stirling university and I remember her in those days as having a strong competitive streak.
