Barley field

Had a mostly dry walk on a very wet day  .. waited until the radar showed what looked like a gap to walk up through the Carnousie estate. This field had been part cut, part baled, and had a combine harvester parked waiting for better weather. Very low mist over everything.  

Stopped to clear some of the road edge drains after the rain came on when I was nearly back; one had a rather deep puddle, so the trousers had to go in the washing machine when I got in. 

Some very heavy rain in the late afternoon, but no sign of thunder.
