Highest Tides in the World

Today we went to Hopewell Cape in New Brunswick to see the "Flower Pots". Their technical name is "Sea Stacks". The water from the Bay of Fundy erodes them.

This location is the site of the highest tides in the world. We were walking on the ocean floor here; in a few hours, the water will rise 47 meters and only the trees will be sticking out!

The Bay of Fundy is currently in a contest to be one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. I hope it wins because it is truly an amazing and beautiful place.
