River lily....

Still very humid here in Essex and in need of the storm they keep forecasting that never arrives!  A bit of drizzle around this morning but a mostly dry day again... big black clouds are approaching so I'm hopeful for more rain!

this River lily or Kaffir lily - used to be known as Schizostylis but don't know why they changed the name! - is just beginning to bloom ... another sign that Autumn is just round the corner!

A day of errand running and catching up with paperwork, and a bit more baking to use up the last of the blackberries!
