Walking a fine line...

A far better day today than yesterday, and not simply because of the weather. I was woken early this morning by mum walking past my bedroom door with her walker, on her way to renewed independence!

The crisis appears (appears... let's not get ahead of ourselves) to have passed as quickly as it came. Rehydration being the key resolver, I think, but a full and frank conversation last night might also have proved beneficial... tough love dot com. ;-)

We also have prescribed antibiotics for the next few days - only six capsules... they must be ever so strong! We've discussed social services options and I've decided to stay through the weekend to ensure she's heading in the right direction, but it's a relief to say the least.

I took a couple of hours off this afternoon, during which I picked up the antibiotics. I nipped into RSPB Conwy... not a lot going on but this young robin was desperate to be photographed and followed me all over the place. Only polite to blip the chappie, eh.
