Orchids.

It's been a sad and frustrating day. My dear friend in the village died after emergency surgery. She was on holiday with my neighbour in Cape Town. What a special lady she was, crippled with arthritis but she never complained. RIP Gaylene.
Then our solar power packed up, and the  municipal power was off again... twelve days without power for those without solar. And the geyser in the outside cottage burst!!
Thankfully all the relevant technicians were available and everything was fixed.
Not the best day. Tomorrow will be better.
And the good news is that the municipal power has been restored.
