Bullfinch

Inspired by blipper's dragonfly shots I went to Longlands Lake and then Clints Quarry in search of one.
I found some at Longlands but they were all in a hurry so no chance of an image. While stalking about in the margins I disturbed a pair of juvenile Bullfinches, I held still for a while and they went about their business hoovering up seeds allowing me to grab this shot.
Extra is a Damselfly which was making a meal of a fly of some description. Scratch one fly...
