Colourful pillars leading up to the leisure centre, passed on my way home from the hairdressers this morning.

The VW doc came early to administer the patient’s last dose of IV antibiotics so, with cover in place, was finally able to leave the house for an hour this morning, the first time in two very long weeks! Ran a couple of errands on the high street then went for the dreaded haircut.

More medical phone calls this afternoon, then, after the last of the chores, joined the patient in front of the tele and collapsed in a heap on the sofa. Cold, grey and wet when I headed out this morning but the sun appeared late afternoon.
