The Newick Pullman

The transporter that brought one of the locomotives through Newick yesterday evening passed through the village again this afternoon in the opposite direction with a different load: Car 307 Carina, one of the Golden Arrow Pullman cars that provided the English section of the luxury rail link between London and Paris between 1951 and 1972.
