Emsworthy Heather

It's been a lovely day and I was keen to go up to the moor but my car was in the garage having a job done. Fortunately, it came back just after lunchtime so I headed up to the moor to Emsworthy, where I knew there's always plenty of gorse and heather although it's getting late in the season.

On the open moor around Saddle Tor there were some lovely patches of purple but my blip is up on the high ground by the little hawthorn. The heather there is past it's best but stil provides a little colour.
