Hello There!

As I was returning to the butterfly bed with a watering can I saw something fly into one of the tall ornamental grasses. I assumed it was a grasshopper and continued on my way but then it occurred to me it might not be a grasshopper. Go look, I told myself, and I’m glad I did :) • It’s been years since I’ve seen a praying mantis • With the help of a taller step ladder I finished the staining I started yesterday. Tomorrow I need to get another brush, some tape and a different color stain. It’s important to take advantage of this week’s dry weather! • I also transplanted a purple bee balm, and planted a new red one we purchased last month • Today’s cool breezy conditions have been downright refreshing! • Peace & Love
