Shimmering Sea

Shimmering sea, dark cliffs in silhouette, big boulders. Deserted beach, incoming tide. Explored a new cove, might not have been a wise choice, but I watched the water rise and escaped in time. The cove was full of sea birds which of course I disturbed. Some I didn't see until they took off because the sun was too bright. They landed just off shore and on the rocks, so I watched them for a while.
