Edinburgh

We spent a very nice morning in Edinburgh visiting the area Graham frequented when he was working there. The flat we had in Edinburgh was behind this lovely old building. This building was the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh once upon a time and now belongs to the University who have carefully renovated it keeping all the original features. Rumour has it that J K Rowling was influenced by this building for her Harry Potter books. It was lovely to see Edinburgh in the sun today!
We came back to Southampton this afternoon via a very long train journey. I’m very glad to be able to sleep in my own bed tonight.
