Lighting Up my Morning

On a short mid-morning walk from home with Meg I encountered the best butterfly activity I have seen here all year.   On some late valerian flowers, Peacocks, Whites large and small and a couple of rather tatty Painted Lady butterflies all nectaring hungrily in the sunshine.   A delight to see.

A precious day off into which I managed to pack quite a lot.   Morning chores saw two loads of laundry on the line.  A couple of hours at pottery before lunch saw three new slab built creations made and a bit more glazing done.   Post lunch a couple of hours sorting through pots of spring flowering crocuses before a longer Meg walk where we met the Donkeys at Rhydyronen.   After a quick tea, a happy evening singing.

Work again tomorrow so I'll be getting some zzzs before long.
