A day of packing the van, washing clothes that we want to take with us, moving plants outside and in to shady places so that they'll manage without too much watering etc etc.   A month's a long time to leave the garden for, but at least most of the veg is just about harvested, peas, potatoes, peas, onions, lettuce and our meagre crop of strawberries! 

Luckily we've got super neighbours who will keep things going in our absence. And they can help themselves to the tomatoes!
