Belated Mothers-day day out :-)

Today I went on a belated Mother's Day out with my youngest daughter. Every year I go on a day trip with my daughter. Today we went to Bad Münstereifel. This place had a major flood in 2021. The water was almost 4 to 5 meters high. Many streets still showed the damage from that time, but most of the local homes and shops have now been restored. It was beautifully restored and we enjoyed walking around there. We also enjoyed delicious Frozen yogurt with berries and around 5:30 pm we had a delicious dinner there. Satisfied and many km later we drove home again at around 7 pm. The best thing was that it was wonderfully sunny, had a gentle breeze and it stayed dry until we went home.
