. . . but not close enough or quick enough to track and focus properly (or identify). Some kind of water bird. two groups of one hundred plus flew over yesterday; one group low and fast with a great whoosh. Today there were three groups.
I was doing my nut this morning looking for a file of music for the 3rd Saturday jam in Albuquerque . . . the cats had knocked it off the table and fallen where I didn't see it immediately . . .
Books for upcoming group discussions arrived today: Kevin Barry's The Heart in Winter (he wrote a piece which appeared in GRANTA 135 Spring 2016 New Irish Writing); and two books of poetry and stories by Luci Tapahonso: Blue Horses Rush In and a radiant curve.
