Sax Appeal

Staying with a friend after a presenting my crocus talk in Northampton. He's a Dianthus expert, the alpine species especially. For a Dianthus expert, he grows a lot of Saxifrages. This is a hybrid of Saxifraga longifolia with wonderful, lime encrusted leaves.

Nice friend, he gave me some crocus seed, collected recently in Bulgaria :-)
