In the spotlight

We spent the day with our grandchildren today. Lots of fun and lots of activities. Our oldest grand-daughter(she's 8) organized a lemonade and cookie sale to benefit "Wigs for Kids". Everything was homemade and that was a feat, baking cookies in 90 degree weather. However, she had lots of takers, as the cold lemonade was welcome on such a hot day. Her younger siblings helped as well and sampled plenty of lemonade and cookies, too. During our down time they helped me look for some bugs, birds, and flowers to photograph.
We decided on the bee to be my blip as the lavender the bee is sitting on appears to be in a spotlight as does the bee. We thought it was taking center stage!
