It was rather hot for both horses and riders today. You can see the rider is wearing a bowler hat with veil, a twill jacket and apron/ skirt and a waistcoat as well as a shirt and tie.

If you're wondering how the rider stays om when riding sidesaddle. there are two pommels - sticking out from the saddle, keeping the legs of the rider static at all times.
