froggy folk

Every once in a while I pull books off the library shelf that don't appear to have seen the light of day in generations. They have that musty bookish smell about them when you turn the pages and the illustrations are something else.

During our last visit I found "A Frog Came A'Courtin". I liked the pictures, I had no idea it was a song. After our first reading Em and I looked it up on the internet and we found this charming version. We've played it a few times more with Em accompanying it with her instruments. All good prep for the folk fest weekend after next!
