Succulent

We woke up to more rain and occasional thunder. After the rain, the temperature dropped to a pleasant 19°C, and I went for the gym session that I had postponed yesterday.

I had just started to work out, when the sun came out and turned the city into a steam bath once more. For the rest of my training I just thought of the cool shower I would enjoy afterwards.

The afternoon brought clouds, but no more rain. The next days are going to be well over 30°C hot again. 

Only a few garden plants seem to enjoy the hot and mostly dry weather as much as the stonecrop. As a succulent, it doesn’t need much water, which makes it easy to grow in our changing climate. I guess I’ll need to plant more succulents in the future.
