Blue Damselfly
This evening was one of those nights where I had an abundance of good pictures to blip and had to make a hard choice.
My husband and I went out to eat Thai tonight. On the way home, we went to the Grand Bay National Wildlife Refuge. I had good pictures of several dragonflies. When we got to the end of the road, there was a good size (5-6 ft) alligator swimming across the bayou. On our way out, a Southern Leopard Frog in the road. I took pictures of them all while dodging mosquitoes and HUGE horse flies ( they bite hard enough to draw blood).
I think this is a Common Blue Damselfly. It posed nicely on a blade of grass for me. My other pictures can be seen here.
