Curious old busted bridge

I've blipped this before. Near the office. The odd thing is that most old historic maps don't show it. But I did find it tonight on one online map supposedly from period 1944-1974 just saying 'dismantled railway' I assume it was related to mining, but odd there was nothing around about it either. It's here for the curious.
