Waste of purified water

As I went to bed last night I heard water trickling. Panic. It was not a burst pipe in our house but a leak from a main in the street. Our neighbour had already reported it but it was not actually repaired until midday. Such a waste of high quality drinking water.

When I returned from my monthly station shift the road had dried out completely.

Our 11 year old grandson had a brilliant first day at “Big School”. He’s launched!
