Lightning Bugs

As the darkness began to wrap us in its cool and secret arms the fireflies rose from the grasses below the trees and bushes like miniature apparitions bemoaning their curse to wander the earth in the twilight between daytime and dark.

The kids didn't see it that way at all and squeals and shouts filled the air as they raced around to capture more and more lightning bugs. We had a great time!
