Another Fun-Filled Day
I fired up the Mr. Flip-and-Fluff waffle maker this morning and made a double batch of waffles (ten) for breakfast. We got through six of them, and froze the rest. Cynthia cooked some local smoky bacon, and we also had fresh mango with honey vanilla yogurt.
Granson B and I were in the workshop right after breakfast, and worked on the project until it was time to go to town for cupcakes, followed by a visit to the Wednesday Farmers' Market, where we had Indian food for lunch. I took Z and B to the Fairhaven Toy Garden while C did some shopping in Village Books. You can see how popular that was.
After lunch B and I went back to the shop, where much progress was made. He was working with the coping saw today -- a little more difficult than making straight cuts -- and did well. I had told him that we wouldn't be able to finish the project before he went back home, but it looks as if we will get it done. He is so excited!
We'll be at Western Washington University Thursday and Friday -- another eagerly awaited event -- more about that anon*.
Here's C's account of the day -- we had some overlap.
