Lake Wanaka

If you are flying to Queenstown you go past it and today the cloud cover disappeared at the perfect time. There has been a lot of rain and when we arrived on the shuttle from Queenstown we found the lake above normal whereas the last time we were here the wharf was high and dry.
and in the first few minutes we bumped into "Pianolady" out for a walk. 
There is still lots of snow on the tops but the local Skifield is looking a bit like Spring...
