Night out

A most enjoyable trip into Manchester for dinner at Six by Nico and then to HOME for the first night of Jay Rayner's tour, promoting his new book about 25 years as a restaurant critic. He was very entertaining, especially when answering questions from the audience. The best question and answer were as follows:

Q. When you were in Australian Masterchef, how did it differ from the UK version?

A. I don't know who you think I am but I have never appeared in Australian Masterchef.
