Cold cycle to the pool then a good swim. Next was a drive to Glasgow. Stupidly took the M8 not the M74 and ended up in a very slow queue at the bride they are repairing as you get into Glasgow. Compounded this by missing the entrance to the Burrell poor signage, and then Ring go needed a new pw. Eventually got there! Of course, it was just me Y being nae fit. 

I was there to see the Degas. Ok but not a patch in Lavery. More history and background than paintings. Did have a quick look at their impressionist gallery before a long call outside with M about Mum. It was a lovely day. I must go back. 

Spent whole afternoon in Y's garden talking and drinking tea. The clouds did not deliver rain, which was a bonus.

Good drive back till the by pass, a broken down car causing havoc. Did some work, emails and cv's and watched some more 'Colin'. Heard a lot about Grenfell in the radio but didn't see any TV news pics.
