Bookclub

My usual busy Wednesday. I went to the market first thing If you aren’t there early, you can’t get all you want. I went to my art group, although this was much quieter than usual, with only 3 of us. This resulted in much more chat than painting… but we still enjoyed it. Then back home to try to sort out the Sun Room. I needed to give all the geraniums a haircut. They thrive in there, but to clean the windows I needed to move everything. In the evening I had my online book club. We were discussing the book in my blip shot. Klara of the title is a robot. I quite enjoyed it, but the part at the start where she is waiting to be bought should have been shorted. Once she went to her family, with a child to care for it really improved. Klara was solar powered and the sun, to her, was like a deity. You certainly can’t accuse Ishiguro of writing the same book multiple times, this is very different to the only other of his books I have read.
