More heartache

We got a phone call very late last night to say that my uncle had passed away. He was 86 and hadn’t been very well, but was unexpected. He had a heart attack. The paramedics tried for 45 minutes to resuscitate him but his body gave up on him.
Today we headed over to see my aunt and our cousin and family. L and L here have lost a beloved sister/aunt this year already and have now lost a beloved father in law /grandad. It’s been a hard few months for them all.
Me, well I am sad. At 86 I think my uncle was tired but it is still a shock. I was only round there on Saturday having a chinwag with them both. He will leave a big (and grumpy) hole in our lives.
