Orla's first day at school

I had the day off again to be part of it and I'm glad I did.

She was excited for the day when she woke up and apart from a 2 minute dispute over getting dressed the day went brilliantly smooth.

She melted Claire's and my heart when she went into class hand in hand with her friend.

She didn't have to do a full day so we picked her up and went to the park straight after. We popped into town for a few bits and pieces and headed back towards home.

A little later we met up with my mum and dad for a drink with Jason and his new wife Raquel, both over from Bilbao. It was great seeing them and we spent a good few hours in the pub, we were there long enough for my sister to join us after her work and later still by her boyfriend.

After Jason, Raquel, Mum and Dad left we stayed around for some food with my sister.

Orla loved all the attention from us and even from a couple in the pub who took a shine to her.
