Judging Day!

We had a great day yesterday with our friend Betty and her daughter Liz but going to Blackpool and back home twice was the downside.

Well, today is judging day for " Colne in Bloom". It is looking lovely all through town and volunteers have been working very hard keeping on top of the watering over the last couple of weeks.

This blip is of outside Colne Town Hall but you don't really get a good a view of all the flowers as I would have liked but I wanted to fit the Town Hall in the blip. The designed for the Town Hall was the same man (Alfred Waterhouse in 1893) who designed Manchester Town Hall.
