Visiting friends

More packing, doing last minute tidying and sorting and arranging. Picked the sweet peas and left them for neighbours whose cats I've been looking after for the last week. We leave tonight, they come home tomorrow. Not quite ferries that pass in the night, but almost! 

Lottie needs a good walk if she's going to be on a long boat journey and then in the car, a bit of exercise beforehand. We went round all the cut and baled barley fields and came back via our friends, the goats. 

They always come to the fence to see us, but are too wary of Lottie to get close enough for me to  touch then. They suddenly realise how brave and daring they've been and scamper off then dance about on they den! Goats are great fun and always entertaining!  I'm lucky to have these three close by.
