The Fog on the Tyne

Okay.

Not the Tyne.  The north sea but look at it!

Had a.great sleep last night  

We got up, I had kippers and then Si dragged me out for a walk 

We walked down from the hotel to the harbour; from.thr harbour to.Gertrude's garden.  

From the garden to the shore

From the shore to the Bird Sanctuary 

From the bird sanctuary for.miles and miles and then to the pub 

At the pub we are.ceab sandwiches


Then we started back to the hotel.  On the way we met a couple...

'we've just come over the causeway.  The causeway is closed now: the national trust shop is closed:  the coffee shop is closed.  What are we supposed to do for six hours?'

'go for a walk?  Walk round the church?  Go to the pubs?

'what are you doing?

We are going for a nap!

And we did 

And then we had another luscious dinner
